Continuing a long tradition (is it a tradition if I've only done it once?), here are my favourite posts of 2007
- My Reply to a pompous email: I'd forgotten how silly my response was. But I think his final word was just a bit unfair.
- In a rare display of courage, I post the banned photo of David Cameron.
- Lots of stuff posted on the government's bid to increase the detention without charge limit: in response to Ken Jones, finding a consensus, Amnesty's petition, The Answer and finally, salami-slicing freedom.
- FFS It's Monday, a new weekly column taking a look at topical issues from a misanthropic perspective, came in to being earlier this year. Highlights included Crybaby Clegg, Religion and Our Glorious New Leader.
- As Sir Ming left the stage, I remembered his leadership life in gags and got stuck in to the contenders' websites, as well as posting a report from the London Leadership Hustings.
- I wonder what the hell has happened to the LibDems over the Europe question (thankfully now rectified).
- And finally... Brown misleads the House of Commons.
I've taken to posting videos more frequently this year, here are some of the best:
- An excellent (but hastily produced) video from Cowley Street after Brown displays his streak.
2007 was a bumper year for this blog, as I posted a full 108 times (including the new FFS It's Monday later today) more than any other year since it started. Whether this shows greater boredom or engagement I'll leave you to decide.
