Didn't Ming make similar remarks in late 2005 about Charles Kennedy?
Did Simon actually say the second bit or was that added by the Guardian.
Doesn't really matter. This is the only story the press will write this week. Expect a succession of unlikely "leading" Liberal Democrats to be trotted out for the 30 seconds of vanity fame.
