Shameless pop at Ming

From BBC News:

Liberal Democrat president Simon Hughes said the party was "united" despite low poll ratings and doubts over Sir Menzies' position.

Yep, we're all united behind Ming... with a knife in our hands.

Didn't Ming make similar remarks in late 2005 about Charles Kennedy?

Did Simon actually say the second bit or was that added by the Guardian.

Doesn't really matter. This is the only story the press will write this week. Expect a succession of unlikely "leading" Liberal Democrats to be trotted out for the 30 seconds of vanity fame.
